About The Book

Have you ever dreamed of being in a storybook world? Sometimes it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Come with Bonnie as she learns to make friends, express her feelings, and deal with her own shyness in Swan Lake, Sugartowne, and Looking Glass World.

What We Did

Kristie came to us because she felt that her book needed a bit of a clean-up, and we were more than happy to oblige.

In the realm of story, this book comes from the tradition of kid-friendly fables, so we helped her work on some of the characters and added a certain amount of realism to the whimsical atmosphere. For instance, the Sugartowne segment in the middle of the story plays with candy, so we thought of some ways to make that particular world a little bit more interesting and dynamic, such as reworking characteristics of a certain swamp to reflect what Bonnie might actually go through. We don’t want to spoil too much, though!

On the technical side, we helped her correct some typical errors in grammar, punctuation, formatting, and so on. After that, we formatted the book to her liking and handed over EPUB and MOBI copies that she could distribute to retailers.

From The Author

I was afraid to promote my self-published middle grade book because of formatting errors, minor misspellings, and a general lack of polish. Eric fixed EVERYTHING in a timely manner and offered a fair price for a complete edit.
